"Golos" names most frequent violations at elections in Kuban
On September 11, at a press conference in Moscow, activists of the “Golos” (Vote) Public Association told about the violations fixed by them and other observers in the course of September 10 elections in Kuban (another name of the Krasnodar Territory by the name of its main river, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, various-level elections took place in a number of Russian regions.
As stated by David Kankiya, a coordinator of the "Golos", the most common violations in the Krasnodar Territory were violations of the rights of observers and members of election commissions with advisory votes, as well as violations in the vote tabulation process.
Besides, according to his story, the region fixed facts of the ban on making photos and videos, ballot throws-in, one of which they managed to fix on video, as well as compulsion of state servants to vote.
“Golos” activists assert that among all the past electoral campaigns, the municipal (lowest-level) elections were most competitive.
