These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

The death toll includes two suspected members of the armed underground: one in Dagestan and another in Chechnya.

Attacks on law enforcers

On September 18, policemen tried to stop a car moving along the road between Khasavyurt and Makhachkala. The car driver failed to obey to the policemen's demand to stop the car. After that, the policemen started to pursue him, and the driver began to shoot back. A shootout occurred. After a while, the car caught fire, and as a result the driver was killed. He was identified as Sakhrudin Ibragimov, an owner of the car and a resident of Khasavyurt.

At night on September 22, at the entrance to the Kalininsky village in the Mozdok District of North Ossetia, a guard and surveillance checkpoint No. 16 of the Division for the Mozdok District from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) was shelled. As a result of the shelling, three policemen were injured. The policemen fired back, but the attackers managed to escape. The wounded policemen, 25-, 26- and 38-year-old, were taken to the Mozdok District Hospital.

Bombings and terror acts

In the evening of September 21, in the wooded area in the vicinity of the Kharachoi village in the Vedeno District, a suspected militant, detained a year ago, and two policemen, who accompanied him, were blown up on a mine. In 2016, Abbas Kuzhulov, a deceased 60-year-old local resident, was sentenced for involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF). He was serving his sentence in a prison outside Chechnya and was sent to the republic to take part in investigative actions.

Detentions

On September 21, the police detained two residents of Khasavyurt, who joined a group of militants operating in Kaspiysk. According to investigators, in August 2017, two men voluntarily joined an illegal armed formation (IAF) and began to obey to the instructions voiced by the leader of the militant grouping. The suspects looked for and kept weapons and ammunition and also recruited new members for the militant grouping, the investigators' report states.

Investigators believe he was kidnapped. A criminal case was instituted under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Russian Criminal Code (kidnapping of a person). • Compensation decrease for illegal prosecution violates rights of KBR resident

The court ruling, which awarded Madin Gubzhokov compensation of 30,000 roubles for unlawful criminal prosecution, is incomparable with the moral harm caused by the actions of Azamat Kyaov, a former law enforcer.
