KBR’s law enforcers report 11 cases of financing terrorism in 2017

Since 2013, power agents of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have established 53 cases of financing terrorists; 11 of them – in 2017, local law enforcers report.

"We’ve revealed 11 facts of financing terrorism for the amount of more than 4.6 million roubles," the "Interfax-South" quotes Arthur Makhov, KBR’s Deputy Public Prosecutor.

Anzor Shurdumov, the head of the division of the Prosecutor's Office of the KBR for supervision for the enforcement of laws on federal security and counteracting extremism and terrorism, said that, since the start of 2017, seven persons have been convicted for financing terrorism, the TASS reports.
