In Dagestan, residents of two villages report inspections and searches

Starting from this morning, law enforcers carry out targeted inspections and searches in the village of Karlanyurt in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, reported local residents. In the village of Novoselskoe, inspections are being conducted starting from November 17.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 17, residents of the Novoselskoe village reported the mosque was cordoned off by law enforcers who checked IDs of all believers. According to the villagers, on the same day, one of the Novoselskoe residents was detained after a search. The law enforcers found weapon at his place. Meanwhile, relatives believe the weapon was planted to him.

"As far as I know, no searches and detentions have been carried out. The village has not been blocked, and the situation here is calm," reported a resident of the Novoselskoe village.
