In Dagestan, rural school buildings are often dilapidated, and local residents fear for the safety of their children who go to the schools. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 5, a resident of the Khebatli village in the Tsuntin District of Dagestan held a picket in Makhachkala with the demand to build a new village school.
