Man killed in shootout in Kaspiysk

Police have killed the man who opened fire on them in Kaspiysk, a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) has reported.

According to the source, in the evening on January 15, in the city of Kaspiysk, Dagestan, "an unidentified man opened fire at policemen. No policemen or civilians have suffered.

"In Kaspiysk, law enforcers stopped a man to check his documents; in response, he opened fire at them. He was killed by the return fire," the "Interfax" quotes its source from the NCFD's MIA.
