Relatives of two Makhachkala residents complain of their kidnappings

Relatives of Ali Umarov and Rasul Tatamgadjiev cannot locate their whereabouts and assume that they had been kidnapped by law enforcers. Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan claimed knowing nothing about the young people, advocate Selim Magomedov reported.

Ali Umarov, a resident of Makhachkala, born in 1987, disappeared on February 1. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a relative of the disappeared man.

According to his family members, Ali Umarov was conditionally sentenced for illegal possession of a pistol. On February 1, he went to the Penitentiary Inspectorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN) for Dagestan. His relatives have got information that when Ali Umarov was leaving the building, he was kidnapped by people in masks. The relatives believe that law enforcers are involved in the kidnapping.

On the other day, Rasul Tatamgadjiev, an Ali Umarov's friend, disappeared. He went to his relatives in the village of Geli in the Karabudakhkent District. Meanwhile, people who introduced themselves as law enforcers came after him, put him in a car and took him away to some unknown destination, advocate Selim Magomedov reported.
