Nagorno-Karabakh counts 250 cases of shelling from Azerbaijani side during a week

In the period from February 25 to March 3, Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 3000 shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier, Nagorno-Karabakh claimed that during the period from February 18 to February 24, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire 300 times.

Over the past week, Azerbaijan violated ceasefire about 250 times in total, the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reports today.

The Karabakh side registered the use of only small arms.

Armenia accused Azerbaijan of shelling its positions and villages in the Tavush Region in the evening on February 26. The village heads reported that the shelling did not cause casualties and destruction.

Meanwhile, during a week, the Azerbaijani side regularly reported on shelling of its positions by the Armenian armed forces and counted 718 such cases in total. Only during the past day, the ceasefire was violated 110 times, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.
