Parents of killed Gasanguseinov brothers-shepherds complain about authorities' indifference

Murtazali Gasanguseinov and his wife have held a three-hour-long picket in Makhachkala, demanding a personal meeting with Vladimir Vasiliev, the acting head of Dagestan. The father of the brothers killed in the Shamil District of Dagestan complained that he had repeatedly tried to make an ineffectual appointment with Vasiliev.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 1 Murtazali came to a rally demanding to investigate his sons' murder.

Law enforcers had declared Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov, killed on August 24, 2016, to be militants. Their fellow villagers stated that the guys were shepherds and had nothing to do with militants. On November 27, 2017, it became known that the case on the brothers' attack on law enforcers was stopped; and a case on their murder was opened.

None of the government employees reacted to his picket, said Murtazali Gasanguseinov, adding that he will held pickets every day until republic's authorities pay attention to him.
