Observers threatened and abused by sporty men at elections in Dagestan

Two observers were forcefully removed from the polling station No. 1111 in Makhachkala. Videos of the violations during the elections were deleted from their phones, one of them told the "Caucasian Knot".

At the polling station No. 1008, the observer was detained after trying to verify the voters' data, a representative of the headquarters of one of the candidates said. The men at school No. 7 "disliked" the fact that the observer Zukhrab Omarov shot the violations on his phone.

"They forcefully dragged me from the station to the street and threatened me. They took the phone and deleted all videos," said the man.

At the polling station No. 1008, policemen detained an observer from another political party, whose representative participates in the elections, as reported by Ruslan Lugovoy, a member of the republican headquarters of the candidate.

"The observer tried to check the data of those voters who wanted to vote on absentee certificates, because he thought these people tried to vote second time," he said.

In addition, at the polling station No. 1018, observers complained of a ban on walking around the site. They told that the representatives of the electoral committee and two young men in sports suits demanded them to "sit still" in their places.
