The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the inauguration of Armen Sargsyan as the new President of Armenia was held today; and the presidential powers of Serzh Sargsyan have terminated; and the Armenian government resigned. On April 17, the Parliament will elect the Prime Minister, who, in accordance with the recent constitutional reform, will be the first person of the state.

Serzh Sargsyan will be nominated to the post of the Armenia's Prime Ministers, Karen Karapetyan, the acting Premier, has stated today. According to his story, the decision was made back on April 7, during his meeting with Serzh Sargsyan.

The participants of todays' joint rally, organized by the Front "For the State of Armenia" and the initiative group "Reject Serzh", chanted: "Consolidation!", calling on all oppositionists and the entire Armenian people to unite in order to prevent the continuation of Serzh Sargsyan's power, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
