In Yerevan, protesters explain their dissatisfaction with Serzh Sargsyan

Supporters of the opposition movement "My Step!" interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent see the main problems of Armenia in the failures in the foreign and domestic politics, in the social, economic and education spheres, as well as in the total corruption and the presence of oligarchs.

On April 17, the majority of the Armenian MPs voted for the appointment of former President Serzh Sargsyan as the Prime Minister. President Armen Sargsyan appointed him the chairman of the government.

The voting took place against the background of protests in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia. On April 16, 46 people were injured in clashes between protesters and the police.

Student Eric Ovsepyan says he wants to see young people in the government who will pull the country out of the crisis.

Dentist Agavni Mkrtchyan is participating in protests for the first time. According to her, she is dissatisfied with social and economic problems and corruption.

"People have to work hard, but they get meagre salaries," the dentist noted.
