Two suspected militants killed in Dagestan

Today, in the area of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) carried out in the Derbent District of Dagestan, law enforcers have shot dead two armed men, sources from the law enforcement bodies report.

The incident occurred between the villages of Chinar and Gedzhukh.

"The law enforcers destroyed two militants in a forest belt," reported a source as quoted by the news agency "Interfax".

An armed clash occurred when law enforcers were combing the forest and found out a dugout of militants, the TASS reports.

Special services agents are engaged in identification of the killed suspects, who had weapons and ammunition with them, the RIA "Dagestan" reports with reference to the information provided by its source.
