Russia failed to reach World Cup semi-final

The outcome of the Russia-Croatia quarterfinal match at the FIFA World Cup-2018 was decided by a series of penalties. Today, the Russian national team has played its last match at the tournament.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Russia-Croatia quarterfinal match took place today at the "Fisht" Stadium in Sochi. The regular time of the match ended in a draw – 1:1. In the extra time, in the 101st minute, Croatian footballers scored the second goal, and in five minutes, Russians scored an equalizer.

In a series of penalties, Croatians managed to defeat Russians – 4:3.
