Azerbaijan reports 81 shelling episodes from Armenian side

Over the past 24 hours, the Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire on the troops contact line for 81 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

According to the MoD, the shelling was delivered from the area of the Armenian settlements Shavarshavan, Voskevan, Chinari and Krasnoselsk, as well as from the vicinity of a number of Karabakh villages.

The Azerbaijani positions in the villages of Guschu Airym, Gyzylgadjyly, Kokhanebi, Geyali were among those shelled, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported. During the shelling, large-calibre machine guns were used.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 9, Azerbaijan announced 96 acts of shelling committed by the Armenian side for the past 24 hours; and 89 such acts during the previous 24 hours. On July 7, Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of 155 bombardments of its militaries during the week of July 1-7.
