Thousands of protesters hold namaz in Magas

Residents of Ingushetia have responded to a call to come today to the centre of Magas for the Friday prayer. After the start of the namaz, people continue to come to the square.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Magas, activists continue a spontaneous protest against the exchange of territories with Chechnya. The activists did not report any clashes with law enforcers.

Participants of the protest action against the change in the borders of Chechnya and Ingushetia declared an indefinite protest and decided to spend a night in the square in front of the parliament in Magas.

Isabella Evloeva, a reporter of the "Alif.TV", posted on Facebook a video broadcast of the Friday namaz.

According to a source, 4000-8000 people gathered for the prayer, with the action being "exclusively peaceful."
