Ingush SC recognizes a search at activist Ruslan Mutsolgov's house as illegal
The Supreme Court (SC) of Ingushetia has cancelled the decision of the Magas District Court, which recognized a search at the Ruslan Mutsolgov's house as lawful, advocate Magomed Gagiev reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 1, residents of Ingushetia on protest against the change in the Chechen-Ingush border held mass motor rallies and blocked the federal highway in the area of Magas. On October 2, law enforcers conducted a search at the house of Ruslan Mutsolgov, the leader of the Ingush branch of the "Yabloko" Party, and a number of other activists.
Ruslan Mutsolgov said that law enforcers seized his laptop and mobile phone. Meanwhile, according to him, he got no clear answer when asked the law enforcers about the reasons for the search. On October 4, the Magas District Court recognized the search as lawful.
