In the 2nd quarter of 2018, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Karachay-Cherkessia

In April, May, and June 2018, in Karachay-Cherkessia, no one fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2018, also no victims to the armed conflict were reported in the republic.

The provided statistics cannot reflect the number of victims with the 100 percent accuracy. Not all information is included in the news reports. It is not always possible to check the reliability of the statements voiced by the law enforcement bodies. Besides, new facts about the events of the reporting period become often known after the statistics had been already published on the "Caucasian Knot".

In the second quarter of 2017, no victims to the armed conflict were reported in the republic.

In total, in 2017, in Karachay-Cherkessia, at least 5 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, all of them were killed. In 2016, no victims to the armed conflict were registered in the republic. In 2015, in Karachay-Cherkessia, at least 4 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, all of them were killed.

In 2014, no victims to the armed conflict were reported in Karachay-Cherkessia. In 2013, at least seven people fell victim to the armed conflict in the republic. Of them, five people were killed and other two were injured. In 2012, in Karachay-Cherkessia, 7 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, including 5 killed and other 2 wounded. In 2011, 34 victims were reported. Of them, 22 were killed and other 12 were wounded.
