Two people killed in CTO in Stavropol Territory

The members of the terrorist organization, who were killed today in Stavropol, were not residents of the region, authorities have stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, today the Russian FSB has stated that at detention in Stavropol, members of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court, rendered armed resistance. However, the FSB did not specify how many people were killed during the counterterrorist operation (CTO).

"A CTO was held in Stavropol, as a result of which members of the terrorist underground were neutralized – two criminals who arrived in the city from outside the territory. None of civilians and law enforcers was hurt," says a message posted on the portal of state bodies of the Stavropol Territory.

However, the message does not specify where exactly those persons killed during the CTO had come from.
