Azerbaijan counts 30 shelling attacks in conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled, including those stationed in six villages, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 9, Azerbaijan reported about the shelling of two villages in the conflict zone. In total, on January 8-9, the MoD recorded 25 shelling attacks.

"The units of the Armenian Armed Forces used large-calibre machine guns and violated the cease-fire regime for 30 times within 24 hours," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.

According to the MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the villages of Ashagy Askipara, Gyzylgadjyly, Djafarli of the Gazakh District, of Kokhanebi and Mundjuglu of the Tovuz District, and of Zamanly of the Gadabay District came under fire.
