Armed people in camouflage uniforms abducted a 28-year-old man in Grozny's Staropromyslovskii district several days ago, according to information provided by local residents. He is a close relative of Mr Malik Saidullayev, a well-known Chechen businessman, according to some reports. The abducted man's whereabouts and further destiny have not been established yet. It is also unknown what served as a ground for his abduction, says a release of the Council of Nongovernmental Organisations which Caucasian Knot's has received.

A group of armed people driving an UAZ vehicle seized and brought away Mr Temirsultanov, 25, resident in Avtury, Shali district, in the evening on 20 December.
