Kadyrov's help to Dagestani fire victims triggers ambiguous reaction in social networks
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed local authorities to deal with the situation and provide maximum help to victims of the fire in the Dagestani village of Tissi-Akhitli. The monetary aid in the amount of 10 million roubles allocated by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has alerted some social network users.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on March 2, a fire occurred in the village of Tissi-Akhitli of the Tsumadin District of Dagestan, as a result of which 64 people lost their housing.
Many public organizations have collected humanitarian aid for the fire victims, said Anatoly Karibov, the acting chairman of the government of Dagestan.
The delivery of humanitarian aid to fire victims is actively discussed in social networks. The broadest discussion was caused by the information that the head of Chechnya had allocated 10 million roubles to the victims. In the Instagram page of the "Voice of Dagestan" community, most commentators expressed gratitude to Kadyrov.
Some users complained about the "insufficient amount of help" provided by the authorities. Also, some expressed concerns about the Kadyrov's charity initiative.
"Again, Chechnya stands out. Benefactors. It will not bring any good," the user bb_kv.00 wrote.
"It's not for nothing that Kadyrov grants this money; they may get out sideways," Rashid Aliev wrote in the "VKontakte" community.
"In a couple of years he will say: 'it's my village, belongs to Chechnya,' Muhammad Dzhavatov has noted.
