Residents of Ramzan Kadyrov's native village report compensation for demolition of houses
Land plots are allocated and compensations were paid to families whose houses near the Ramzan Kadyrov's estate in the village of Khosi-Yurt are to be demolished, villagers report.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that under the instructions of the authorities, owners of about 10 private houses in Khosi-Yurt (Tsentaroi), a native village of Ramzan Kadyrov, began to demolish their houses by themselves. The authorities planned to create a large park on the place where the houses located not far from the estate of the Chechen leader, residents of neighbouring villages reported on April 3.
About 10 houses located on the land plots belonging to three families are to be demolished, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by Adam, a resident of the village. "These are the ancestral lands of those families. Taking into account our mentality, the very fact that people have to leave the land of their fathers is perceived most difficultly," said the man.
Large land plots on the outskirts of the village are allocated to the families whose houses are to be demolished, says Musa, a local resident. "The land plots at the entrance to the village were allocated to them. In addition, they also received large compensations, and the authorities promised to help them with building materials and directly with construction works," the local resident told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
It is not surprising that the residents of the Ramzan Kadyrov's native village received "good compensations" and large land plots, noted Aslan, a member of a Chechen NGO. "In the villages, everyone knows each other, and they all are relatives of each other in one way or another, so that was quite expected. In Argun, Shali, and Kurchaloi, people in the same situation got only houses built somewhere out of place, and that was all," Aslan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
