Azerbaijani journalist detained on suspicion of drug dealing

In Baku, law enforcers have detained the editor-in-chief of the website "Bakupress.az" on suspicion of drug dealing. The journalist said that she was slandered.

Law enforcers have stated that Shafag Agabalaeva (Agadjan) was detained at an attempt to sell marijuana, the "Haqqin.az" has reported. During a personal search, a bundle with a drug was found on her, the "Oxu.az" reports referring to its law enforcement source.

The journalist wrote on her Facebook that she was always against drugs. She said that she had been slandered and called on her supporters to defend her at the court session on May 3.
