Law enforcers continue their raids at Tangim mosque in Makhachkala

On Friday, May 3, law enforcers conducted another raid near the "Tangim" mosque in Makhachkala, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the venue.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the believers visiting the "Tangim" mosque in Makhachkala complained about regular Friday raids conducted by law enforcers.

During the raid, at least two parishioners were taken to the police station, Idris Yusupov, a journalist, who was also present at the mosque, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, law enforcers keep holding their raids at the mosque for two weeks already; however, they have changed their tactics by changing open detentions of believers for more hidden forms of conducting raids.

Should raids near the mosque continue, its Imams and the public council of the "Tangim" mosque will seek a meeting with the head of Dagestan, Vladimir Vasiliev, Akhmed Chililov, member of the public council, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
