Anzor Maskhadov, the son of ex-president of Ichkeria, applies for political asylum in Germany

Anzor Maskhadov, the son of Aslan Maskhadov, the diseased president of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, has left Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for Germany.

Day.Az correspondent has found this out from the Chechen Diaspora sources. The same sources report that he asks for political asylum in Germany.

Earlier, the family of Aslan Maskhadov, the diseased leader of Chechen separatists, asked for political asylum in Finland. This was announced by the "Finland-Caucasus" society based in Helsinki. According to the Finland-Caucasus society, the Maskhadov's family lived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The relatives of the former Chechen militants' leader claim that they do not feel safe in Baku, reports the ВВС.
