NAC reports killing three militants in Dagestan

Three persons were killed in a shootout with law enforcers in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has informed today.

According to the NAC, the inspection was carried out "as part of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime introduced in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan."

"When inspecting a non-residential private house located in the village of Sultan-Yangi-Yurt, law enforcers were fired upon by a group of armed men. Three bandits were killed by response fire. Automatic weapons and ammunition were found at the site of the shootout," the NAC has reported today in its website.

According to the message, there are no victims among law enforcers and the civilian population.
