Police report 16 detainees at actions against Armenian Premier

Sixteen participants of actions against the policy of Nikol Pashinyan were taken to police stations in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor; protocols have been drawn up on eight of them, the police have informed. Activists say that 30 of them were taken to police stations.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 1, several dozen people wrote on the roads in the centre of Yerevan and other cities the hashtag #SutNikol (#LyingNikol) in protest against the Premier's policies. Activists themselves reported 29 detainees.

The #SutNikol action was held in more than ten cities of Armenia; about 100 people took part in it. The police prevented the holding the action in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Ashtarak and Echmiadzin, the NGO named "AdekvaD" has informed.

The Armenian Police have reported 16 detained and already released activists – 14 in Yerevan and one in Gyumri and Vanadzor each.
