Krasnodar blogger needs surgery after attack
Vadim Kharchenko, a Krasnodar blogger, said that after the attack on him, he turned to a Moscow clinic for a surgery of the stabbed arm. Policemen are seizing surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the incident and search for witnesses.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 3, Kharchenko told on his YouTube channel "Personal Opinion" that at night in Fadeev Street, near the Krasnodar Airport, two unknown men attacked him. One of them fired several times, allegedly, from a traumatic pistol; the other stabbed him.
The Vadim Kharchenko 's YouTube channel named "Personal Opinion" posts videos with criticism of law enforcers and state servants.
According to Vadim's story, doctors fixed three bullet wounds, presumably, from a traumatic weapon, three knife wounds, including in his back, and a brain concussion, as the attackers hit him on the head with some heavy object.
A check of the attack on the blogger, Vadim Kharchenko, will be conducted within 10 days, as prescribed by the law, an employee of the press service of the Chief Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Ministry of the Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told the "Caucasian Knot" on June 5.
According to the source, police are seizing records of surveillance cameras located near the incident and are searching for witnesses.
