On June 10-16, no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were fixed

The week from June 10 to June 16, 2019, passed without victims to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Explosion near school in Kabardino-Balkaria

In the morning on June 13, an explosion occurred near the fence of School No. 10 of the village of Dugulubgey, which is part of the urban municipality of Baksan. Nobody suffered. A few minutes before the explosion, children left the playground for breakfast, said the school manager. Local residents put forward a version of an explosive device, triggered remotely. However, law enforcers gave no comments on the incident.

Relatives report kidnapping of three Derbent residents

On June 15, several residents of Derbent in Dagestan were kidnapped. In the morning, Islam Barzukaev, 26, drove from home to a fuelling station, after which he was out of contact. Mirazali Mirzaliev, 29, a fixed-route minivan taxi driver, was stopped in Makhachkalinskaya Street. Law enforcers asked passengers to leave the minivan; and the driver and his Gazel minivan were detained. Gasan Kurbanov, 29, was detained on his way to work – he works as a furniture assembler. Having no information about the whereabouts of the young men, their relatives turned to the police with applications about their kidnapping. On June 16, it became known that all the three were held in the building of one of the power structures within the case of illegal weapon possession, their relatives have reported.
