During the week of June 24-30, 2019, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Detentions

On June 27, it was reported that several persons were detained in Chechnya, who communicated with Akhmed Barzaev, killed while attacking law enforcers in Grozny.

The law enforcement bodes reported that several friends of the killed attacker had been detained. They can possess relevant information or may be in some way related to the attack. The number of the detainees includes Ayub and Abubakar Inurkaev, residents of Zaman-Yurt. According to a source, law enforcers found in Akhmed Barzaev's mobile phone the photographs of the above young people and his correspondence with them.

On June 28, in Makhachkala, another raid was conducted by law enforcers near the "Tangim" Mosque, eyewitnesses reported. At least ten people were taken to a police station. Among the detainees was Idris Yusupov, a correspondent of the newspaper "Novoye Delo" (New Clause): he was detained after he began photographing the detention of believers.

According to Idris Yusupov, he was released after he had filed a complaint stating that law enforcers were preventing him from fulfilling his journalistic duties.
