Nine homemade bombs found in Dagestani village

Law enforcers have liquidated the improvised explosive devices (IEDs) found in an abandoned warehouse in the Untsukul District of Dagestan, the Russia's FSB has reported.

According to the FSB, the bombs were found on the north-eastern outskirt of the village of Gimry.

"Nine items were found in the territory of the abandoned warehouse, which were later identified as IEDs," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the August 4 press release of the FSB Department for Dagestan.

The overall power of the IEDs was about 90 kilos in the TNT (trotyl) equivalent, the "Kommersant" reports with reference to the FSB. All of them were liquidated on the spot, the report says.
