Law enforcers detain "Our City" activists in Makhachkala

Law enforcers took to a police station the activists of the movement "Our City" and a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, who highlighted the public inspection of the reconstruction results on the central square in Makhachkala. All six detainees have already been released.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Makhachkala treated as unreasonable the multimillion-dollar spending on the reconstruction of the central square in the capital of Dagestan.

Today, the activists of the public movement "Our City" have come to the Makhachkala central square to evaluate the results of its reconstruction. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported that he and five other persons who were filming the square on video were taken to the police station. Among the detainees, there were Svetlana Anokhina, an activist of the movement "Our City", and two camera men, one of whom worked for the press service of the Makhachkala city administration, the "Novoye Delo" (New Cause) reported.
