YouTube users argue with Chechen blogger about Kunta-Khadji Kishiev

While criticizing a statement voiced by the Chechen Mufti concerning the immortality of Kunta-Khadji Kishiev, blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov raised questions of faith, which should not be a reason for discussions, some YouTube users noted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Tumso Abdurakhmanov criticized Salakh Mezhiev, Mufti of Chechnya, for saying that Kunta-Khadji Kishiev continued to preach Islam in the world.

Islamic scholars note that the allegations of the immortality and the paranormal abilities of Kunta-Khadji Kishiev fit into the Sufi concept, but contradict Orthodox Islam.

The authors of many comments under the Tumso Abdurakhmanov's video posted on YouTube found it unacceptable to express irony about the death of Kunta-Khadji Kishiev.

"Kunta-Khadji Kishiev was a holy man! Whoever says anything! Of course, it is clear that people surrounded his death with some mystic facts, but he loved his people," user Maiyrbek Devirov wrote.

Let us remind you that starting from 2009, Chechnya marks the day of January 3 as the Memorial Day of Kunta-Khadji Kishiev. Among the followers of the Kunta-Khadji Kishiev wird (religious community), there are Ramzan Kadyrov and most of the officials and religious figures of Chechnya.
