Ban for women in "Anji Arena" swimming pool leads to complaints to Prosecutor's Office

Three women from Dagestan filed complaints to the Prosecutor's Office about the fact that they had been deprived of the opportunity to visit the largest swimming pool in Northern Caucasus, activist Svetlana Anokhina reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Kaspiysk, the "Anji Arena" sports complex banned women from visiting its swimming pool. The above fact provoked a resonance in social networks, with some users claiming discrimination against women and others calling for respect for the local traditions.

On Facebook, Svetlana Anokhina, the editor-in-chief of the portal "Daptar" highlighting the problems of Dagestani women, called on local women to file complaints against the administration of the swimming pool to the Prosecutor's Office.

Women are banned from visiting only one of the two swimming pools of the "Anji Arena", announces the sports complex as quoted by the "Interfax".

The schedule of the second swimming pool includes male and female days, explains the spokesman of the "Anji Arena" sport complex.
