Special and counterterrorist operations

On February 14, law enforcers conducted another raid in the vicinity of the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala. More than 30 law enforcers were involved in the raid. They arranged checkpoints in three places: on both sides of Omarov Street and at an exit of the "Tangim" Mosque in Gagarin Street. Thus, the law enforcers managed to cover the major part of the believers who visited the Friday prayer. Law enforcers checked IDs not only of those people who left the mosque territory by car, but also of pedestrians. According to the mosque-goers, the law enforcers were interested in stopping men with beards.
