Resident of Dagestan complains about being persecuted for visiting "Tangim" Mosque

The believer has reported that some time ago law enforcers wrote down his personal data after the Friday namaz (prayer) in the Makhachkala mosque, and then forced him, by means of threats, to come to the police for "conversation". During the raid this Friday (February 28) at the mosque, law enforcers again stopped the Makhachkala resident.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers are regularly conducting raids at the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala, explaining this by their concern about security.

On Friday, dozens of law enforcers took part in the raid, the journalist, Idris Yusupov, has reported.

They stopped cars and copied the personal data not only of drivers, but also of passengers, said Magomed, a visitor to the mosque.

A resident of Makhachkala named Radjab said that after the prayer in a mosque, policemen copied his personal data. He underwent the same check on January 17, while on February 16, he received a telephone call from a man, who introduced himself as a law enforcer and demanded from him to appear at the police station for a conversation. However, he refused to explain the reason for the demand. Radjab decided not to go, but on the following day, he was telephoned again.

According to Radjab's story, he has complained to the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan that the law enforcer had threatened to put him on the so-called "prophylactic registry" and threatened to come to his home.
