Chechen residents publicly apologize for behaviour of their relatives in Moscow

Chechen law enforcers found and forced to return to their homeland 47 natives of the republic. Relatives took responsibility for their behaviour and claimed on the air of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (State TV and Radio Company) that they themselves complained to the authorities about their relatives who left the republic.

The "Grozny" ChGTRK showed a group of men and young people standing on the street with their heads bowed, their relatives and officials, including State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov, the advisor to the leader of Chechnya, Ruslan Alkhanov, Chechen Minister of Internal Affairs, and Abuzaid Wismuradov, the chief of the Chechen leader's bodyguard service. Among 47 people returned to the republic by law enforcers, there were "drug addicts, hooligans, and thieves," whom their relatives complained about, the "Grozny" ChGTRK reported in its story presented on March 16.

Adam Delimkhanov called on residents of Chechnya to "watch" their relatives addicted to drugs and alcoholic drinks. The Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized that natives of Chechnya "were doing unacceptable things" and "defaming the name of the Chechen people" after they had left the republic.

Relatives of the Chechens returned to the republic apologized for their behaviour and thanked for the efforts made by the law enforcers.

Aslanbek Galurzaev, a resident of Chechnya, said that he complained about his relative to the chief of the OVD (Interior Division) for the Achkhoi-Martan District. "He said that other citizens also claimed similar problems, and we will solve them together. Literally several days later they returned my son. May the Almighty Allah be pleased with our padishah [Ramzan Kadyrov] and his comrades. They did a great job," said Aslanbek Galurzaev.
