Doctor from Kalach-on-Don complains of pressure after scandalous video appeal

The head physician of the central hospital of the Kalach District has applied to the prosecutor's office regarding the disclosure of untrue information about the work of the hospital, Tatiana Revva, a resuscitation doctor and the author of the scandalous video message, has told.

Tatiana Revva had complained to the trade union that there were almost no personal protective means against the coronavirus infection at the central district hospital located in Kalach-on-Don. According to her story, the hospital bosses responded to her complaints with threats.

On April 1, doctor Revva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on phone that on March 31, the hospital's chief physician, Oleg Kumeiko, applied to the prosecutor's office accusing her of divulging untrue information about the work of the hospital.

"The application was written by [the head physician], but I haven't seen it yet. The policeman summoned me for a talk about it, but I said that I wouldn't go [to the police] without a summons and an advocate. From the policeman's words I realized that the point was on the text of my letter, allegedly, it's a lie. In the letter, I based my arguments on documents – official notes submitted to the head physician about violations in the hospital over the past seven years," Tatiana Revva has explained.
