British Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA): Litvinenko was irradiated with polonium-210
John Reid, head of the British MIA, has reported on the investigation of the circumstances of Alexander Litvinenko's death. In his words, it has already been precisely established that the former FSB colonel received a strong irradiation doze of polonium-210, the SkyNews informs.
Earlier Alexei Yablokov, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told the "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" (Independent Paper) that the version of Litvinenko's poisoning with radioactive polonium-210 is fantastic: "The half-life period of polonium-210 is 138 days, and it means that it should have been delivered very quickly from the place of manufacture to the place where the person was to be poisoned. This is practically impossible."
Alexander Litvinenko, former FSB lieutenant colonel, died at night on November 24 in a London clinic. On November 1, Litvinenko was poisoned in one of London restaurants during a meeting with his informant Mario Skaramella. Litvinenko then told that Skaramella had given him some documents containing data on the murderers of journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
