After his long absence, Ramzan Kadyrov holds a meeting in Grozny

Five days after reports about his illness, the leader of Chechnya appeared at a meeting of the operational headquarters to combat the coronavirus infection. The last time Ramzan Kadyrov appeared in public 11 days ago, on May 15, also at a meeting of the operational headquarters.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, a source close to medical circles reported that Ramzan Kadyrov was under medical supervision because of suspected coronavirus.

Today, Ramzan Kadyrov has announced that he took part in the meeting of the operational headquarters. "At the first meeting of the operational headquarters held after the holiday weekend, I have listened to the reports of those in charge," the leader of Chechnya wrote in his official Telegram channel.

No video from the meeting of the operational headquarters has been posted yet. The Ramzan Kadyrov's post on the Telegram channel is accompanied with three photos, including one joint photo, in which the leader of Chechnya sits at a round table in the distance, and two of his personal photos, made from the close distance.
