After sending another group, about 800 people stay in Kullar camp

On Tuesday, August 25, 400 Azerbaijani citizens were taken from the camp near Kullar to the Azerbaijani border. About 800 other citizens are still awaiting their return to homeland. The number of people arriving in Dagestan for sending to Azerbaijan will only grow, Afig Allakhverdiev, a deputy chairman of the National Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in the Moscow Region, has suggested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by August 18, due to the end of seasonal works and the closure of enterprises, the number of Azerbaijanis awaiting departure to homeland exceeded 1100.

"Everyone wants to get home; people are outraged that they can't do it. But we can't help them all at once. But we try to put at least those who have health problems on the list," Mr Allakhverdiev has added. "Every day there are more and more people in and at the camp. Where they get settled, I don't know."
