On September 14-20, no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were recorded

During the week of September 14-20, 2020, there was no information about any victims of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Special and counterterrorist operations

On September 16, law enforcers conducted a counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the outskirts of Nazran, where migrants live. Initially, information was received that preventive work was being held there with migrants, but only FSB employees were present at the venue. Armed men and military vehicles were seen there. No official information about the CTO and results thereof are available.

On September 18, about 20 law enforcers conducted out another raid near the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala after the Friday namaz (prayer).
