Azerbaijani soldier wounded near Armenian border
As a result of a shelling attack on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, a soldier was wounded, who was at a combat post in the village of Agdam, Tovuz District.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 21, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported that positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in four villages of the Tovuz District were shelled from the territory of Tavush Region of Armenia. As a result, Elshan Mamedov, a serviceman, was killed.
Gurban Gurbanov, another military serviceman, received shrapnel wound in his shoulder, the "aze.az" reports.
The Shamkir Military Prosecutor's Office opened criminal cases under the articles of "waging an aggressive war" and "attempted murder with the aim of inciting national, racial, religious hatred or enmity."
