Social network users criticize groom's behaviour at a wedding party in Dagestan

In a video which caused a public outcry, a resident of Dagestan behaved insultingly towards his own bride, but did not receive a rebuff from her relatives, users of the social network "VKontakte" note.

In the video posted on the public account "Voice of Dagestan" in the social network "VKontakte", a young man wearing a suit holds his hands in his pockets and walks into a room where the bride, with her face covered with a veil, stands motionless in a beautiful wedding dress. Then a group of men appears in the room. They, including the man wearing the suit, begin to dance and shout something loudly at the same time. One of the men approaches the bride, who continues to stand motionless with her face still covered with the veil, and places on her head a piece of paper, resembling a banknote by its size. The paper falls to the floor, and one of the two women who stand next to the bride picks it.

Without taking his hands out of his pockets, the man wearing the suit approaches the bride in the beautiful wedding dress, then roughly hugs her neck with his left hand, and leans her against him. The young man continues to hold his other hand in his pocket until one of the men approaches him. Then the young man hugs his neck with the right hand and rests on the shoulders of the bride and the man and lifts his legs up.

In their comments, social network users condemned the behaviour of the groom. "He demonstrates such disrespect for his wife, her brothers, and her father. How can the father let his daughter marry such a young man?" Shamil Amirov wrote. "If I were the father of the girl, I [would] say at the same moment that I would not let my daughter to marry this man," Sabina Magomedova stated.
