Four militants killed in a shootout in Grozny

According to preliminary information, four militants were killed during an armed clash in Grozny; the counterterrorist operation (CTO) is over, sources report.

Today, the CTO regime was announced in the Oktiabrsky District of Grozny, where three law enforcers were killed in a shootout.

"According to preliminary information, four militants have been liquidated," the TASS quotes its law enforcement source.

Another source has reported that the CTO in the Oktiabrsky District of Grozny is over: "The CTO is over; the venue is being inspected. The house where the militants had been blocked is on fire."

There is a threat of terror acts in the Oktiabrsky District of Grozny, the operative headquarters in Chechnya of the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has stated earlier.

"Information has been received about a possible presence of an unidentified bandit grouping in the Oktiabrsky District of Grozny. The criminals are planning to commit terror acts," the headquarters had reported.
