From October 26 to November 1, no victims were fixed in North-Caucasian armed conflict

During the week from October 26 to November 1, 2020, no information was received about any casualties or wounded people during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Detentions

On October 29, it became known that a 35-year-old resident of the Derbent District was detained on suspicion of supporting the activities of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court. According to investigators, in 2018, the man raised at least 345,000 roubles and transferred it to an IS member for committing terror acts.

On October 29, a 49-year-old resident of Izberbash was detained, who was engaged in remaking civilian (traumatic) pistols into combat ones. In his house, law enforcers found an arms shop.

On October 30, the court ruled to arrest residents of the Leskensky District of Kabardino-Balkaria, who, according to the police, had set up an extremist community and used force against those who refused to share their views.
