Nagorno-Karabakh reports shelling of Martuni and Shushi

The Azerbaijani militaries have resumed shelling attacks on Shushi, while heavy artillery is used against Martuni, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has stated.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD), dwelling settlements of the Goranboy, Terter and Agdjabedi Districts were shelled. According to the MoD, at night, positions of the Azerbaijani troops deployed on the border with Armenia were also shelled from mortars.

After a relative lull at night, at dawn, Azerbaijani militaries resumed strikes at Martuni and Shushi, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has reported. "They used heavy artillery in attacking the city of Martuni, and the city of Shushi was shelled from various types of weapons," the "Sputnik Armenia" quotes the Emergency Service's statement.
