Instagram users criticize appeal of blogger Djikaeva's mother to Kadyrov

The defence of the blogger, Malika Djikaeva, will appeal against the verdict announced by the court of three years in prison within a drug dealing case. Social network users have expressed bewilderment at the apology of Djikaeva's mother to Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Djikaeva was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. Examinations confirmed that she did not use drugs, said her advocate. The girl's relatives are sure that the drugs have been planted on her in order to punish her for her shocking videos.

Djikaeva gained fame in social networks after posting her shocking videos. In June 2019, a court in Chechnya fined her for a video, in which she, dressed in police uniform, was shooting from a submachine gun and a pistol.

Many social network commentators to the news about the apology of Djikaeva's mother have expressed surprise at the fact that the woman was addressing the head of Chechnya; some of them ridiculed her statement about the breadth of Kadyrov's powers.

At the same time, there are also posts with doubts about her guilt. Instagram users pointed out that it is not uncommon that drugs are planted.
