Participants of action in Tskhinvali report law enforcer's daily control
The action held by relatives and friends of Inal Djabiev continues in Tskhinvali, despite the frosty weather. The protesters have noted that several policemen monitor them every day, but there are no conflicts with them. Anatoly Bibilov, the South-Ossetian president, decided to convene an extraordinary parliament session; some MPs of which support Djabiev's relatives and boycott the sessions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the protesters' main demand is the resignation of the Public Prosecutor General of South Ossetia. In January, Djabiev's widow headed the movement in defence of the rights of South-Ossetian residents entitled "Law. Justice. Inal Djabiev".
Maya Tsiskadze and Oksana Sotieva, Inal Jabiev's mother and widow respectively have been holding their protest action in the square in Tskhinvali for almost two months. Oksana has to leave her three small children with her sister or mother in order to come to the square.
Up to 20 people gather in the square every day to support Djabiev's relatives. Before the onset of frosty weather, the number of participants in the action was approaching 40-50 persons.
Policemen are monitoring the action held in the square on the round-the-clock basis.
According to Oksana Sotieva, there are almost always some oppositional MPs at the action.
Inal Djabiev's relatives have repeatedly stated that they are not going to end the action until the republic's Public Prosecutor General is dismissed.
